Mechanical extraction using screw presses / expeller presses

Efficiency meets innovation – mechanical extraction

During mechanical extraction, the oil is pressed out of the seed by reducing the volume. In contrast to the past, when the use of manual stamp presses was common, today only screw presses/expellers are mainly used.

The screw presses can be precisely adapted to the respective seed and the characteristics of the desired end product and enable a reliable, continuous and automated oil extraction process. Hot pressing and/or cold pressing can be implemented flexibly with the same Florapower screw presses.

We are able to design and implement highly efficient solutions on an industrial scale for the processing of classic seed varieties such as soy, rapeseed and sunflowers, as well as for exotic materials such as spice seeds, nuts, insects and other raw materials and side streams from the food industry.
