The process safety filter (police filter) is composed of a bag filter and a cartridge filter in a stainless steel housing. The actual oil filtration takes place in an upstream process. The safety filter has the task of ensuring the oil quality in terms of impurities and comes into action if the upstream filtration should not function properly.
